.onion link? 11-17-2016, 05:32 PM

Hello.
To me privacy is very important and I would like to have the forum accessible via a .onion link. I don't know if anyone else here really care about their privacy but I do and I think it's a great idea and it shouldn't be so hard to set up.
What do you guys think?

A .onion link isn't going to mean shit different from visiting a normal link.

While it would be easy to set it up, there is a big problem...
If a user connects to a tor hidden service, the server sees it as 127.0.0.1(a.k.a localhost), because everyone would be connecting from the same adress, there would not be a way to tell if a user is using multible accounts and worst of all, because you could not ban an ip, anyone could just come, spam the forum until an admin bans the account, than they could create a new one and repeat the spaming.
Making a tor hidden service for sinister.ly is a horible idea.

What do I think? I think you're one of those OPsec screaming posers who post retarded threads like these to make it seem like they actually have something to hide from so they can look cool, despite not knowing at all what they're talking about. Having an onion link on this will have no effect on your privacy in any way. You can still access the site through Tor(Browser) regardless of what the link is.
