After having played LoL on a diamond level I made the switch to Dota2.

It felt like learning to play chess after being a master in tictactoe! Needless to say I hold dota2 in a much higher regard due to letting you have the freedom to experiment and make mistakes. In LoL it is all very streamlined and largely pre-determined what role you will play based on champion you pick, the skills are also very bland and do not require much of you skillwise, there is no danger of fucking up either.

Both LoL and DOTA are based off Warcraft III. If you like the characters from Warcraft III, I recommend trying Heroes of the Storm.

Id say its the lowest of all mobas mentioned. You are punished less for mistakes but rewarded more for teamwork.

Id say its the lowest of all mobas mentioned. You are punished less for mistakes but rewarded more for teamwork.

Character builds are also quite simplified. It's easy to become decent at multiple heroes, which I like.

Never been a huge fan of MOBA to be honest I have given many a try and they just don't strike my fancy
