And this forum used to be jumping off with daily defaced websites being shown off, (wish it'd come back ffs), market place forums being DESTROYED etc...

I like all of them, although I did like Afro Samurai more than champloo(he is just more badass). FMA is awesome, same goes with death note along with code geass and the likes.

The badassest samurai manga however blows both of these samurai animes out of the water though, a crippled samurai vs a blind samurai, very fucking intense but I forgot the name of it. I used samurai 4x in my last sentence.

Shigurui is another great, albeit very grim series. @Nuance (who did our logo) recommended it to me originally.

I'm just a casual pleb, but I am opinionated on stuff.

Sword Art Online first season really kicked ass too. I dont want to admit it, but that is probably the reason why i'm building an entire room dedicated to VR. Man that shit really rocks my boat! Second season was pissweak, so i quit watching it. It would have been better if he recovered and became an unorthodox kempo grandmaster intending to dominate the world like Makunouchi Ippo, from concentrated fantasy to slice of life martial arts because why the fuck not.

Blue Lagoon is awesome too, my favorite character definitely is Balaleika, she has class, guts, expertise and is imo 10x the woman the main character is.
Ergo proxy and ghost in the shell are both not bad either, along with blue gender, elven lied and Devil lady for the more suspenseful stuff. Speaking of suspenseful stuff, how could I forget serial experiments: lain! Everything made by Studio Ghibli is also topnotch by the way, comes recommended and kid friendly.

Lots of good stuff out there, although i do not necessarily like anime. I just like watching stuff that is brilliant or funny, no matter the medium it is expressed in, be it a movie, anime or a theatrical show.

I didn't find Shigurui that good especially because...

the series ends right before the fight between the two rivals. The ending is the beginning of the first episode basically. That's the anime, I'm not sure about the manga.

No no no don't say that. It has not ended right? The cliffhanger in the manga is of monumental proportions, they better finish that shit or blood will be spilled. Why does the good stuff always get abandoned because of some stupid potato-tier anime/manga? NO SHIGURUI WILL GO ON
