Kickass Mirror Shut Down By Mexican Police Swiftly #1

Quote:The Mexican police have shut down Kickass.mx, the domain of a popular KickassTorrents 'clone.' While the police action comes as a surprise to the torrent site operator, he has no intention to throw in the towel and will continue to serve torrents from Kickass.cd.

It's funny, because this was the one I used beside extratorrent.cc when I needed to leech something.
You would think the Mexican police would have better things to do...

This comment sums it up.
Quote:Hey Mexico, on your "to do" list this should come somewhere after "stop torture, beheadings, and kidnappings". I'm pretty sure you skipped a few things to get to this.

I don't think those idiots will ever understand.

Why not try to change shit that really matters? There will ALWAYS be a hand-off. Whether it be TPB, ET, KAT, whatever.

I'm not usually at a loss for words, but I have nothing more to add to this.

Perfectly said.

Mirrors will appear now and then, but won't stay up for long.

Despite all the litigation and continual efforts to bring them down, I'm amazed at how TPB manages to remain online.

Their motto of "The Pirate Bay the galaxy's most resilient BitTorrent site" Is true to It's word.

Certainly so. I believe the original TPB is down but there are a few mirrors up, including scam clones.

They keep changing domains, It's sometimes hard to tell which Is the real deal.

At the moment, thepiratebay.org Is up which I believe Is their original domain at the time of their establishment back In 2003. And yes, you're absolutely correct of the cloned scam sites.

Yeah the scam sites were why I never tried any of the mirrors. Maybe someone should list the legit ones?
