IS bombing kills 125 Ramadan shoppers in Baghdad #1
Quote:At least 125 people have been killed and about 150 injured in an explosion claimed by the Islamic State group in Baghdad, Iraqi police say.

A car bomb exploded on a busy street in the central district of Karrada late on Saturday.

The mainly Shia area was busy with shoppers late at night because it is the holy month of Ramadan.

Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi was met by angry crowds while visiting the scene of the blast on Sunday.

A second bomb also exploded at about midnight in a predominantly Shia area north of the capital, killing another five people.

The bombing in Karrada is the deadliest in Iraq this year.

It comes a week after Iraqi security forces recaptured the city of Falluja from Islamic State (IS) militants. Authorities say the city was used as a launch pad for attacks on Baghdad.

Just as I expected that there'll be some more bombings and shootings by ISIS these days.

What Is It with all these killings and bombings around the globe as of late? One starts and others seem to follow.

As @"Ruptured" mentioned, this was Inevitable.

It's assumed because it's the muslim's holy month Ramaddan, at least that's what they said in the news.

Considering we're at the end of the month, these will likely stop for now.

According to the news...

If ISIS planned their attacks according to the news...

If you'd just know...

ISIS often announces attacks in advance, they just leave the details out.

You're right. We should ignore the ones that are unannounced. Those aren't important at all.

I didn't say that - you did.

You literally could talk with yourself maintaining different roles.

Yes, that seems to make sense.

Probably a little premature to conclude as to whether It'll stop anytime soon. We'll just have to wait and see.

Hopefully it doesn't get worse. These shootings seem like they are getting worse and worse, and I don't want to think what happens if that trend continues. Could get really bad.
