So I was thinking, you know how there's Siri for the iPhone?
What if we developed a "Siri" for the computer, now this might sound
stupid at first and I don't know if they're are such things out there
already, but think about it, you could ask it to do math for you or
help you research for your report.

This idea has so many possibilities, it's ridiculous.

If anyone has any ideas they'd like to throw in or would like to
help out with the thought process/development of this, PM me.

So basically you would like to make a voice activated personal assistant?
Sounds like a lot of work, but in the end the possibilities are limitless.
I'll be brainstorming ideas for you.

I like this man, it would be pretty fucking cool. But you have to think about this:

Where are you going to get the robotic sweetheart voice?
How are you going to get her to talk?
You're probably creating the first step for robots to take over the world(obvious joke)

Windows sort of has something like this already on Windows 7, I find it completely useless though and not very manageable but it's a start.

I have some of the know-how to begin this, but it would take a team of full blown Software Engineers, and I'm not at that level quite yet. I'd just be the CEO of the company if it blossomed into a full company and business.

This will use Voice Recognition which involves several imports and references. We also may need a vps to host another file.

Honestly I could Imagine Siri coming to a future version of OS for Mac's, they just need to make it I guess.

There is already some things out there that are voice activated, just not as good as Siri though, and when I last saw one Windows has it just wasn't that good. Would be cool though.
