Ok, I see that we have daily goals to promote activity on site. But with activity not being there during the weekdays as much as weekends, why not make a weekly goal instead of daily goals?
Simply look at thread and post made on average per day for the last month, add them together and see if that is a realistic goal, if not slightly adjust that number.
For example figure out how many threads / post were created on each of the last four mondays, add them up and figure out the average, note that number and do the same for each day of the week. Take those 7 averages, add them up and that should be your average weekly post count, add a little bit to that number and poof, same concept except I feel it would make it a lot easier to boost activity while achieving the goals.
(Sundays - ×+×+×+×=? ?÷4= average Sunday post / thread count)
