I'd rather start out in an apartment than a house depending on where I stand financially. If I had enough money to pay a mortgage and utilities with wiggle room I would do that but if things where to be very tight probably not, I don't like feeling stressed out.

Would probably depend on my current money and money earnings. I'd go with apartment though if I travel too much.

Depends on the location and prices. Apartment can be nice, if the location and house is nice. If I would have the money and a nice property, I would consider building my own house.

I'd prefer living in an apartment.
If you live in a house, you have to take care of the garden and all the other stuff that comes with owning a house.

House. Preferably, in the mountain areas. It doesn't have to be a big, fancy house as well. I'm tired of hearing people blasting shit music, sirens, and drama from neighbors.
Mainly want to be in or near the mountains for peace and quiet. Hopefully, I can achieve this in the future.

Old thread, but still active.
Apartment all the way. No maintenance and privacy, are the key elements for my decision.

I'm happy too to come across this still active thread and happy to take part in.
I live in a villa. I'm amongst the 40 % people here in Dubai who likes to live in Villas instead of Sky touching buildings.
