This time we will be talking about programs and resources which will assist you when doing web design.

Graphic Designing Programs

Web Developing Programs

- Adobe Dreamweaver (My favourite and a very good program for anyone to have handy, it makes life a whole lot easier to be able to see what you are designing while working on the code. You can get it from http://adobe.com or you can obtain it from methods which are not to be discussed within this forum).

- Microsoft Expression WEB (Microsoft Expression is another brilliant program, it is an alternative to Dreamweaver and is capable of most of the things that Dreamweaver can do. The GUI is slightly less user-friendly however, you can get Expression through Dreamspark if your college/school has signed up).

- Notepad++ (This is an alternative to the normal notepad program, it simply had more features and is easier to use as you can indent code to make it neater; It's a very good program for those smaller layouts, and if you want to make little changes).

A lot of the downloads can be obtained through illegal methods which most people are familiar with
