I used to be able to stay up for two and a half days or so? Now it's usually 24-30, unless I -REALLY- need to stay up for some reason, in which case I can go up to 42.

Many years ago, 2 days was my longest.
My goodness, the lack of mental alertness and the Incapacity to focus on the most simplistic of things, really hit hard.

It's been too long to give an accurate/specific number... but I was known for not sleeping. like ever. I used to staff the largest hacking forum on the internet (at the time, been defunct a long time now though). think much bigger than SL but A LOT smaller than HF. I think at our peak we had something like 127,000 registered... though we started pruning inactive accounts regularly. We dropped from 127,000 to 87,000 or something at one point lol. any ways it became a running joke with the team that the rest of them weren't needed. I was ALWAYS available or contactable. but i'd be up for days at a time. and when i fell asleep it would be for just a couple hours max while sitting in my chair, at my computer lol
Also, my city hosted the olympics one year - I was working like 32 hours straight some shifts. It was a 24 hour retail establishment. So i'm not talking in an office chair programming or something either. I remember starting at like 11am one day and finishing up after lunch the next, then going home, getting about 6 hours sleep, and starting at 10pm that evening lol.
