Probably in a few years you don't even have to buy clothes anymore, you can change any moment with just a tap on the screen of your smart watch. There are a lot of inventions that I think "What the hell did they create now..." but in the end an invention is an invention and there might be someone who creates something usefull out of it.

Definitely I mean look at when smartphones came out the apps on there were mostly news apps now there's so many useful apps that I would struggle to be without I.e. mobile banking allows me to get money from an ATM without having my bank card with me.

I agree but do you think that is a good thing? It certainly makes life easier, no doubt about that. But does it also make life more secure?

|RED FLAG| I smell socialism... Socialism has never worked and it never will. People are lazy and selfish and the list goes on... It is ironic how there was more advancement during "war" time than in "peace" time.
Where would you rather live? In the 1800 United States or the 1800 Russia? I'm not comparing modern day America, because it is closer to becoming a socialist state.

Well that's true, I actually do watch a lot of sci-fi, I just like the movies ^^. Anyways, that depends, if I were sure that I wouldn't die because we would have regenerating cells or something like that I would. Look you can't disagree that evolution is a fact. Maybe one day we will evolve enough that all of the greed and dumbness will be deleted from our DNA. I'm not talking about humans altering DNA. I'm talking about evolution, nature that changes our DNA by time.

But tell me who created that algorithim (Conway), who created that program (You), who created that computer you are on (many thousands of intelligent people). You would say there is at least a little bit of intelligence there, right? I hope.

And don't tell me that it is evolution because the people who made it are evolved... do you know what circular reasoning is? You haven't proved anything to me...

I wouldn't be surprised with even higher level languages. Advancements in natural language processing. I don't think programming will become as simple as drag and drop or speaking into a computer like some people think. I see cool new gadgets being implemented that will replace or be in conjunction with routers providing wireless connectivity.

Relax mate, I was just giving my opinion. I don't have to proof anything, I'm just saying something and there will always be people that agree and disagree.

I'm not saying we didn't have an evolution. I think you misunderstood me. What I was trying to say is the way I see it there are 2 types of evolution. The things we can do, change and create and just the nature (DNA) and such of our species. We can't change that. We as humans automatically adapt and what I was trying to state is that there might be some DNA changes that will takeaway the will to have greed or be powerful.

Don't misunderstand me, I don't have proof, but I just want to keep the discussion going in order to see what other people think.

Technology Is moving so fast. I couldn't Imagine the processing power of CPUs, and what advancements SSDs (or what ever they'd be labeled by then) would be like.
