Hello and welcome! I am also new here.

As far as social engineering goes there is a great section on the matter here

you might also check out the social engineering toolkit or SET. It's a widely reputable set of tools for SE impementations such as spear phishing, honeypots and more.

One important thing to remember about social engineering is that there is much more to it than scamming free stuff. Social engineering is about the art of manipulating the human thought process to achieve specific results and many aspects of social engineering can go on to help you out in every day life.

Cheers and happy learning!

Hello there iSolo, welcome to Sinisterly.

Pertaining to SE'ing, (along with doxing and hacking), I'm In the process of writing a very advanced eBook solely written by myself with no plagiarism whatsoever. So far It's over 200 pages and no where near half way done, so If you have the patience, I will gladly forward you a copy on completion.

Hope to see more of you around the forums.
Enjoy your time here.
