Mine was a little over $100 once you put everything together, and I can't say I really notice a difference except battery life.

Not that I need it, but mine has variable wattage/voltage. It hits much harder than a standard pen, from my experience.

I build my own coils, which is a pretty standard thing now apparently. I don't have the option to vary the current right on the battery like some, but I can easily change it with forward resistors across a lower gauged wire on the coil.

I don't like the extremely hard hit that much, I like to just get 90-95% efficiency off of mine, but I use it as a nicotine replacement system more than a flavor delivery system.

That's the whole point I got mine....I went from 3 or 4 packs a day down to 1 pack a month.

Any luck with different flavors and ratios?

Since you guys seem like you know the hardware pretty well, given a budget of $120, what's best for having flavour and big clouds, hardware wise. I'm buying myself an actual decent one, not the shitty starter kits they sold locally.

I'm really enjoying the Coolfire IV. If you want strong hits and puffy clouds of vapor, it does the job. Figuring out the settings is pretty easy. I vape with it set at 20-30 watts. I really don't think I'll need a different vaporizer, as this is pretty decent.
