I really did like Ubers a lot, although I did get perm-banned from there..Multiple times.
It was a good forum early on though, one of my favourites. Community was wonderful but it just started to decline and decline and like a year after I got banned I heard C4C was giving up on it so I went back on and had a look around and there was a post the forum was closing soon.
I went over and signed up on VSec, which was kinda nice, some members still hated me after all my perms but it was pretty much a fresh start over there, but then the forum just never quite got any decent activity and died pretty quick.

I lurked the forum from time to time as a guest, but I never registered an account on there because nothing at all appealed to me in the slightest. It just seemed like a replica of HackForums, from my perspective, but with a smaller member-base and a less active community. Couldn't care less if it gets sold/merged/taken down.

Structurally, I agree It did somewhat resemble HF.

It's caliber of members however, were a lot different- not as many skids, flaming kept to a minimum and constructive criticism rather than direct attacks on members.

Uh, well, let's see:

My first account I had, it was the first time I had ever been on any forum, so I had not set it to subscribe to threads when I posted, so I never actually saw any replies. Turns out some of the ways I was replying was considered gravedigging etc. (which I didn't know about) and the admins warned me several times in those threads not too gravedig or shitpost...But of course, I did not see those posts, so eventually they got so pissed off with it they banned me.
I created multiple accounts, annoyed as shit that I've spent like 8 hours a day on the forum for the past month and am pissed that I got banned, I spam the shit out of the site, talk shit, etc.
After like a month since my last account was banned I decide to sign up again and just start again clean.
Things go well for a while, a long while actually. I had a lot of arguments with some members of the userbase, but also became great friends with others. There was really mixed opinion on me. Some members I was great friends with, others absolutely hated me.
I don't remember what happened for me to get banned the first time actually. It was a short ban for something small and I figured meh, whatever. Came back after ban no issues.
I don't want this to become full of "I don't remembers" but this was so long ago that I actually don't remember too well what happened. Anyway:
I then started my own forum, I was still working on it and wasn't allowing anyone on it except for a few friends who were helping out with it at the time. I was still working on editing all the category's, so in the meantime I just pretty much copy-pasted some of the UB categories whilst I got the forum setup and figured I'd edit them to my own categories before I actually started letting people on, since they were only done like that as a test.
I was having an issue on my forum and posted on the MyBB forums about it, where C4C (ubers.org admin) would go onto a lot. He saw the post, went to my forum, was instantly pissed off. Thought I was trying to fully copy and rip his forum and sends me a scathing PM on ubers, even threatening lawsuits for copying his forum.
I explain that I'm not using the same theme and have no intention too, the site's not intended to compete with ubers and I'm not trying to mess with him, and I just set some of the categories the same as a test whilst I was getting the site up and running and was still fixing it, and that I was going to edit the categories right then so the only thing that my forum would have the same as ubers is that it had "Uber" in part of the domain.
My forum gets up and running and things are moving on, I had started using VHF at this point too.
Something happened on Ubers, I don't really remember what anymore. C4C already couldn't stand me anymore for starting my own forum, and I got a ban on there for a while, he was intending to give me a 1 month ban, but I had stopped using a VPN on my ubers account like a month after it had seemed they didn't know who I was because it seemed pointless at that point.
C4C said he started to get suspicious, he checks my IP whilst going to ban me and finds my shit-ton of old accounts...As well as a few I had recently started up and used to rep myself.
I get perm banned from UB. I hang out on VHF for a while and just keep working on my forum, things aren't going too bad, it's growing quite well for a new forum.
Like a month later I write an email to C4C, apologizing. He unbans me on a last chance basis.
I'm bored with the forum now, and once people found out I'd been multi-account only like 5 members liked me. On Christmas Eve I decide to have some shits and giggles whilst in a call with some VHF people and spam the forum with porn, etc for hours. IIRC Bluescreen did too, but I'm not sure on that one. I got perm'd once the admins woke up.
I set up a page on my forum, it's not linked anywhere, only people who are given the URL see it...It was just a blank page, with a pun regarding C4C's name on it, and meatspin below it.
He emails me, threatening lawsuits, saying he's been talking to his lawyer, to take down the page on my site immediately or he will be trying to sue me for both defamation with the page and for damaging his site's reputation by spamming it with porn. I comply and take down the page.
A few months later a SE method was posted for hijacking skypes. I SE skype support into giving me access too one of Ubers staff members skypes, which I then use too troll and fuck with members for shits and giggles until he recovers it.

Wow...I never realised until writing this all out just how much of an immature cunt I used too be. (Not that I don't act like a cunt often now, but I think I've matured a bit, and I don't troll people all the time just for fun anymore.)


TL;DR: I was banned for being a cunt on multiple occasions.

I actually associate with Valerie we talked a week ago and she is not a bad person, she made mistakes just like everybody else in the world does.

Meh, I was on VHF for a long time and spoke to her a lot. Not gonna derail the thread and have a long discussion here or anything, but I think she's nice at first, then the more you get to know her the more you realise she's an ass.

She was never an ass to me, she was cautious at first but its been like 2 or 3 years since I met her and I know things about her nobody else knows.

It must depend on what side you were trying to get to know her on, as a member/forum side or as a real friend side away from VHF.
