As I've mentioned before, all of today's big technology companies are as bad as each other. Over time people seem to have just surrendered their privacy to these corporations and accepted it as the norm. Things are only going to get worse and not enough people care enough to stop it.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Maybe they can both be dangerous at the same level.

The main issue is that one who cares can just avoid using google and its smartphones, while cannot "escape" the NSA so easily.

To provide you an example, just try to look at what Turbine is. If you google Turbine nsa you will find something interesting.
