Please post in the correct categories in the future. This has absolutely nothing to do with Groups.

And yes, a mac can be spoofed... but they would still need access to the network to begin with. Thats why mac filtering alone is not recommended security for a wireless network. You should be using something like WPA2

WPA2 security is being used the modem itself has been reset and my printer is unplugged. It was showing up as a printer and a computer but now only showing up as a computer (printer is still unplugged) I got the ip address and mac address off of the printer before turning it off and the same addresses are used on that computer. (printer is still unplugged)

WPA2 security is being used the modem itself has been reset and my printer is unplugged. Then yes, if someone has access to your network then they can mimic/spoof/clone/copy any other devices mac. This can cause complications on the network, and choosing a printer would actually be a smart move to remain undetected lol. a device that isnt used as often wouldnt cause as much of an issue.
