I do think that being defaced is a problem, but it wasn't that bad in the scheme of things. I think that this will only make the users here to more attacks actually, hacking is a game, in a way.

It is very upsetting that this has happened, although the fast response from the admins and mods, and the professionalism has increased my faith in this forum.

^Now I agree with this. One thing happens, then it starts a revolution. It is a game, one comes out on top, then vice-versa, and it continues on. I love it.

No one has bragged about the deface online, at least "google hasn't found it".

Hopefully the "skids" will eventually show themselves

We may already know who did it. They are acting like cowards.
But it looks as everything will be okay now.

It's interesting, because I offer rewards for reports of vulnerabilities. The cash I would have paid them for the information would probably be worth much more to them than our database. Since people post every day and passwords change, the outdated database will become more and more worthless over time.

The theme (if they got it), would be worth a fair bit though, and some little "skiddie forum" may find the out-dated database valuable

The database would be useless to anyone but Anar.
The members here are loyal to SL, I doubt anyone would join a forum spamming their inbox using the database.
