So i just saw on his motto (Banned!) Does this mean he is banned that would be a real shame as he is a HQ user

No he is not banned.....when user is banned his/her group is changed to banned..

just change his custom usergroup Legend to Stars and the banned part he added or comes automatic when you change from Legend to another group.
