redone due to complaints.

Inner Peace.

Inner peace is something I have worked years to achieve. I have tried countless methods and have worked tirelessly to find an answer. After doing some research and testing out some methods I have come to a conclusion. Inner peace is divided into three parts. Accepting yourself, Accepting your life, and dealing with the situations around you in a proper manner.

Accepting yourself:
Around the teen years, and maybe even longer, people have a great search for identity. I have even experienced this. People ask themselves, who am I? After years of searching “for myself” I came up with an answer. I am who I am. People have a low view of themselves, and when they can't explain things in their life they blame things on who they are. Something must be wrong with who they are, so they search to be someone else. To attain inner peace you must accept that you are who you are. The person you are is who you were built to be.

Accepting your life:
Countless times do I hear people take their frustrations out on random things that are not the real cause of the issue. For example let us say one fails a math test, the real issue is that they had not studied. Of course, as human beings we never like to take the blame for things. So the person would take out the issue by saying that the teacher is the issue. The only person you are responsible for is yourself. Start everyday by saying you take full responsibility for your life. This will give you a clearer conscience.

Dealing with situations around you:
Life is not perfect, and I have yet to meet one person who has said so. Each and everyday we go through trials and tribulations. To sum it all up, life sucks sometimes. Life isn't perfect for anyone, even the people you look up too, like celebrities. The successful people in life have the same issues we do, they just know how to deal with them. Whenever stressed or emotional about something, try thinking it through. Anxiety, anger, and sadness are based in the amygdala part of the brain. Studies show when one is stressed of anxious or feeling a variety of negative motions, the prefrontal cortex(the logic and decision part of the brain) does not function as well. The same study showed the reverse affect. When people started thinking things through, the emotions decreased and they could think clearly.

Side note:
Meditation. Meditation has changed my life, my meditating studies have shown that beta brain waves decrease. Beta brain waves are a signal in your brain that activates during times of stress or activity. They are like a stimulant for the brain. By meditating and focusing on your breathing, instead of the stresses of your life, beta brain waves may be reduced. In my own experience of meditation, it helps me think clearer, become more creative, and really relax.

Some other tips from Darkv0id:

Stop and smell the roses, find the beautiful things in life, forgive others, love, and express yourself.

Wow! This is outstanding. I like that you got psychology in this too to really give an understanding on what is happening.
