It's a really unique concept, so I don't get it. Why did it never reach it's full potential of fame?

I disliked it because I felt the controls weren't precise enough.
FPS games weren't as realistic as I was hoping, and aiming was a pain in the ass.

Because of rival competitors such as Kinect, and PS3 Move. Also, people want to play games like cod etc, and playing that on wii is absolute shit.

I've personally always considered Wii/Kinect/PS Move to be little more than just gimmicks. I mean the technology is cool and all, but I've never thought that it really added to the games I played them with, and I've never played any dance/exercise games. Maybe with those games they have a more practical use, but as Equinox said, we don't wanna exercise

Personally, i felt that the Wii was quite good, the only problem that i had was that the controller always had to be pointed at that black line thing that you put on your T.V. I'm not sure what it was called, but it screwed me over good on several occasions.

i sold my wii also because the games were gay or just flat out boring

Mainly because it's a dreadful console and has no way of competing with PlayStation and Xbox.
