I know about it enough to give you a good start if you need help with it. Do you have an FTP client? and you need to set up a MySQL database to install the forum on.

lol, you could install APACHE, Php, and MySQL, and run a forum on your localhost for anyone that uses your computer haha.

You need a domain, or at least a free one just to get you started on MyBB and it's administration functions.
