Virus removal help #1
I was trying to work on my friends computer, she got a few viruses from frostwire(<---understatement), and know i am un-able to open any files folders or programs. is there any way to get it into safe mode so i may make repairs.....Note the fact when you push f8 upon booting it will give you the option for safe mode but it will not actually load. it just shuts the computer back down and restarts normally and locks down. what options do i have...... thanks by the way its windows vista

Hey dude! If you have the OS disk you could boot from that and open a cmd window. From there you could type msconfig find the viruses that are set to start when the OS boots up disable them from there? Let me know how it worked for you dude, maybe I could help further if you PM me...

I think the best way to fix it is to reformat it and don't install that app again.
