Quote:Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Does a VPN works on preventing them tracking me? O.O
Thanks in advance.

VPN fools most ip checkers however go to a site like this and hit "HTTPS-Mode" and most of the time your real IP and ISP is revealed:
https://torcheck.xenobite.eu/
Tor I would say is better than an elite/anonymous proxy or VPN. I could be mistaken though as I'm not an expert.

Using The TOR browser just masks your local ip...
The WAN IP address allocated to your service provider is still visible and ultimately traceable to you ...
So TOR does in fact come in handy for minor IP maskings to annonymise your doings...
But if you really wanna go in for some seriously hiding your ass... go in for dynamic IP switchers ...
But still gov nd military ppl can get to you..

YESH A BIG YES! I actually enjoy trolling, but since its HackCommunity I guess not to troll as its related to the sites reputation and Sage or whatever people might not like it.
Okay time to get in topic
