If you don't have access to the system32 folder use a live cd (Backtrack for example) and then I think you're good to go.

Im going to try that. Are you sure it works for Windows 7?

No no no no no no no no. There are a million ways to fuck up Norton. The registry for one, change one bit and you fuck it up. It slows your computer down by 93% and has a detection so horrendous, your virus has to be 37/37 FUD (I know /sarcasm) to be detected, and yet sometimes Norton might just say "Name seems legit = not a virus Smile".

Norton is a joke.

@OP, use cmd and use netuser to create a new account, Idk about your elevation, but you should try that.

You obviously haven't read any recent reviews and still hold the opinions of those from versions of Norton predating 2010.

Try infecting yourself with a key logger. (You can easily make one for this purpose in a language like VB.NET) - Then just social engineer your parents into putting their password in and viola!

If you read above, I have Norton installed on my computer. I tried most keyloggers and all need the admin password + were deleted by my antivirus.

Did you ever consider just installing a new operating system?

Try taking your keylogger code (if you're making your own) and changing it around, making it do the same thing, but not look the same. AV's usually detect viruses by their code, so try it out.

So, it's your PC, but your mom is afraid of you getting a virus? She one of those kinds that puts their children in bubbles to try and protect them 90% of the time? lol

I would say getting a virus is a learning experience if it should ever happen. Most people don't understand that most bad things are a learning experience.
