I've been around the block a lot with HackForums, used to be very active on it. I have over 2000 posts and I was formerly a writer for their news team (which turned out to be a joke). I also have over 600 reputation on there. Even with that kind of no-life activity on it, I eventually got sick of the way the staff team treats members, and I'm friends with two of their staff. Omniscient has been cool to me but has repfucked and closed people for little to no reason at all.
At this point, I just vacation ban myself for a month at a time. No need to be active on there anymore, but I don't want people to get scammed if my account is compromised on there. Might just ask for an account close in the future if it doesn't get better there.

That's part of the reason why I joined sinisterly in the first place, HF got fucking annoying and full of pre-teen kids with an IQ of under 20.

^^ this. I'm far more active here now than I was on HF, and many of the guides and tips I've written here has been exclusive to sinisterly.

I stopped using HackForums completely like a year ago after I got a 30% warning or something for posting in the wrong category. Its not that I was completely off-base but apparently there was a "more appropriate" place because I posted an affiliate link with the actual link or some shit.

Never had more than 400 posts and a few rep but fuck is that place might as well be 4chan imo. the sewers of hacking forums. all the shit ends up there.
