I'm just feeling whiny so I'm gonna whine... deal with it, lol.

Logged on to Hack Forums today for the shits/gigz because I like to work in the linux section and help n00bz to linux. I found out that I had a 20% warning and I was like "wtf?"

I actually PM'd the staff member that did and asked for an explanation.

Long/short, in one of my posts I had asked a question and circumvented the 35 character post by adding extra characters. I decided it wasn't worth spending 5 min to figure out how to re-write my question to reach the limit. Also, I was only 5 characters short of 35.

So I went round and round with the staff Nazi, and ultimately told him I'll take my ball and play somewhere else.

I understand the point of character limits, it's to reduce useless responses to threads like "ok" and "cool" and crap like that. I just think doing a warning over 5 characters is BS, especially since my post was a substantive post looking for answers to a question.

He doesn't seem to be. I get that we're a smaller forum here, but that's still just some fascist crap and basically the staff pig @44holes response was "derp, demz duh r00lz, I'm probbaly like 4 yearz old, leet haxx@!" They should quit being boners and take an example from here.
