RE: Python - Website Recon Tool #11
You're just reinventing the wheel not simplifying anything. You didn't even write good code, you know when you're doing it wrong if you have more lines of prints than real code. This is useless whether you choose to accept it or not.

Lines of actual code: 23
Unnecessary print statements: 16

Although I agree that it's not the best, I would like to say that I'm not the best Python programmer. Whether or not it's useless to you does not affect its usefulness to others.

Has anyone actually said this was useful yet?
I'm not trying to put you off getting better at Python or whatever you're doing but you need to give yourself something harder to do. This looks like it's from one of those 15 minute Python tutorials to explain the basics of sockets and urllib.

1) I don't know and I'm not in a position to judge that.
2) Well than I thank you, anything you can suggest?

I don't know exactly what your interests are but if you'd like to learn about hacking tools then you could start by porting over exploits in different languages over to Python. Eventually you'll be able to create PoC's for newly disclosed exploits. This is also a great way to get your 15 minutes of fame if that's something you'd want by being the first one to write code for some exploit concept.

Most people start by creating IRC bots, you have to think about what you'd like to get better at, go contribute to some Github projects. Read someones else's code and try to understand it, commenting every single line is a good way to do this.

Honestly I think it's useful to him. Hacker's and IT people alike will always reinvent the wheel. It's our nature. Whether we improve on it or not is a different story but for simple arguments sake, It's only as useful as you make it. Some people will see this as a jumping off point for something new. I for one found it useful. I can modify this code and do other things with it. Good job. Keep on learning and making more things.

Thank you. I'll be working on an SL exclusive platform for exploits with @"Equinox" soon. I'm glad you found it useful, it's one of the reasons I do it.

RE: Python - Website Recon Tool #20
What exactly is a website recon tool used for?
Please do not hate me. I am an insane sadist, I hate humans by default, but I try to be nice. I am new to computers and programming.

Why do you people hate me when all I do is try to help? Just because you do not understand me does not mean you should hate me.
