I really don't want to start a war on what is better BUT this is My opinion:

Xbox came out before PS3, therefore alot of people got an Xbox FIRST and thats why they say it is better.

Also people wanted a PS3 but they were £600 when they first came out, but xboxs were only around 250-300. So they got the xbox for christmas.

I prefer the controller on the PS3, I prefer the Store.
Yes ps3 doesn't get as good connection, but the connection is excellent as we are paying nothing for it.
