Definitely hearing, stationary objects in new places are literally your worst enemy if you're blind.

I'd probably rather die by burning, I heard it feels like knives are going down your throat when you try to breathe in water. When you burn alive, the pain doesn't last forever. Your nerves burn to the point where they don't feel anything anymore very quickly. Shortly after that, you pass out.
