You should of watched well just google what the cops did when hurricane katrina hit new Orleans. that shit was very bad cops beating people for no reason yes some did break the law but some did not and still got hit with the steel baton they have.

There have been a lot of awful acts the cops have done that haven't even been caught on camera, but I think many people (not myself) would say that we should turn a blind eye to the corrupt or bigoted ones for the greater good of keeping the public "safe".

Well, not all cops are bad. But the "bad cop" stories seem to outweigh the "good cop" stories. But then again there shouldn't be stories on the news about people who actually do their job. Cops shouldn't be expected to put themselves in harms way more than they already have to, but this is ridiculous. He shouldn't have gotten in trouble, but he shouldn't have resisted arrest either. After they'd already restrained him, they should have stopped. It was clearly an accident, but a really sad one.

To assume that only humans would abuse their power when given is a grave error. Power is corruptive, whether or not it takes over is up to the individual.

I can believe it pretty easily. This kind of thing goes down in my area daily. Hell, a sixteen year old graffiti artist was shot and killed because, plot twist, he ran away.
