Stumbled upon this on Facebook, figured I'd share it: very thought-provoking. The Maunsell sea forts are truly quite a sight - as is Prypiat. A whole city abandoned.

My university is pretty close to that abandoned Air Force station, actually. Those sea forts look really neat, too!

There are already trips / tours available of Prypiat (the place that was affected by the Chernobyl disaster) - so your idea has been snatched.
