So, some people that may have seen the other thread might want to make a homepage.

What is a homepage?
It's just a page with links to sites you frequently visit, interesting stuff, or anything you particularly want. It can serve as a replacement for bookmarks or

How do I make one?
Assuming you know basic HTML, you should be able to easily design your own, although some of the sources below aren't made with basic HTML and you might be more inclined to use a source instead. Either ways, I'm not going to teach you HTML.

How do I set my homepage?
Depending on what you want to do, you could upload your homepage to a server, and connect to it through the internet. Or, you could simply store it on your computer and open it in your preferred browser.

If you're using a server/hosting, then simply upload the files through FTP/SFTP. After you've uploaded the files, you can normally visit the site through its IP, or if you want you can add a domain. I'm not going to show you how to configure a webserver or utilize hosting, as it's pretty basic. After you've uploaded the files and modified them to your liking, you can set it as your home page. If you have a domain, simply put your domain as the homepage. If you are just using the IP, then put that.

If you're using your computer to store the page, then put the files somewhere neat (like C:/homepage/index.html). After you've added the files, HTML and all, you can modify them to your liking. After that, you can set the page as your home so that it opens with your browser. For most browsers, you can simply put file:/// and the folder path (file:///C:/homepage/index.html) under the settings menu.
