I for one, still trust my data in the hands of truecrypt.
As long as you use it correctly, your data is secure.
With that being said, i can see that there is no download now, ill try get a bin of 7.1a so people can use it.
There's nothing wrong with trusting what you believe is safe. However, you shouldn't push on the idea that what you think is safe, will be for others.
On the offhand, why do you refuse to accept the words stated on the site that literally says WARNING: Using TrueCrypt is not secure as it may contain unfixed security issue? Yes, it may have been working for years, but all things become unstable and break over time.
