Great book indeed, though many things are outdated.

I doubt people care if its outdated or not lol. Most people won't do half the shit there, and will probably just read it because its a fun read.

I'd like to point out that no, that isn't the actual PDF, it's a digital version released much later that has nearly no resemblance to the original.

I've actually managed to get my hands of a First Edition copy of the actual book, it's beautiful.
Deadly, inaccurate, well out-of-date, and written in a fit of misguided political fury, but beautiful all the same.

The author, Powell, has come to hate his own work, and has basically said that you'll die if you try to do any of it, by the way. So it's not really a how-to that anybody should ever use, under any circumstance, but it's still a hell of an interesting read.

I think I also have a PDF of it, I'll search my hard drive and upload a copy of the actual book, rather than was posted.

The one I posted was a crappy scan of the paperback. I bought a copy of the original ages ago, but I lost it somehow.

Ah, the Anarchist Cookbook. I remember back in the late 90's downloading this little treasure and spending hours reading all the various things of interest. All in text format too, none of these fancy PDF files :p

It's funny, I was thinking of this book just yesterday. I recall a terrible little note in the book talking about a light bulb and gun powder or something. Something about igniting gun powder using the filament in the lightbulb.

Anyway, I thought about that, then immediately thought about CFLs and how that little technique/trick would never work w/ the CFLs.

It would work better with a cfl, if anything. CFLs work by ionizing the shit out of some mercury. The tricky bit would be not poisoning yourself when you open the bulb.
