I think torrenting is fine. Movies and music is all I use it for. I don't really play games so I really have no input on that.

My internet sucks and I don't know how to open ports so I can't really torrent anything anyways. But I would think it's fine as long as you don't redistribute it or anything like that.

Well I think anyone who composes anything (whether it be a game, movie, TV show, music, etc.) deserves to receive compensation for their work if they want it. That being said, piracy is a part of today's world. It's very hard to stop without the implementation of strict laws and dedication of many resources.
I'm a pirate, although if I really like or respect something, I'll purchase it or donate.

I share basically the same opinion as you op. I don't really have any morals after all this time on the internet, but the one thing I do have issues with torrenting are really cheap games. Just kind of makes me feel guilty that I'm such a cheap cunt that I can't spare a couple dollars.

I agree that a true artist expresses them self without monetary gain, but aslong as they require monetary gain, it is wrong to steal from them, because that is essentially what MOST torrents are doing. Everyone is in the wrong.
