Since when were all new members "LQ"?

For my first thread I think I did quite well.

If the gates are closed again, not only the Low-quality members will be scared off; the High-quality will be too. So there's not really any way of separating the two before they register.

'Tonnes of activity' is not all that good if it's not HQ.

Hmm. I see where you're coming from. In that case, we need a system to be able to filter out LQ members. I don't think that rule is enforced harshly enough.

Care to explain why you think that nothing HQ has been posted here in a long time? They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I guess that's not just limited to beauty. I'm not saying that you're LQ, I just want to know why you feel the way you do.

Well ok, you can just ignore my question and ask one yourself, I'll answer it anyway. An HQ post is one that others can learn from and improve themselves with. The majority of this forum is simply not that. When's the last time someone has posted a tutorial that is original and highly detailed? You may speak the most impeccable English and be the nicest guy in the world, I still won't consider you HQ unless you contribute something adequately beneficial to the forum. Threads such as "What do you think of me?" just don't cut it as HQ for me. Sorry.

I was actually debating this with Oni last night. He was considering removing the whole "grammar" rule in its entirety. Needless to say, Lux and I were not happy at all.

The grammar here is bad enough already, removing the rule would make it even worse.
