New Groups, Features, and a Staff Member 01-12-2013, 05:12 AM

First, we have three new official usergroups. The first group is the News Team, led by Phytrix. The News Team is in charge of keeping everyone up to date with what's going on in the world and inside the forum. You can expect a new edition from them every two weeks. The second group is Goons, which is led by Goon. This group specializes in web-exploitation and has already leaked a dozen or so databases from relatively large sites. Lastly, we have Overwatch - which is a group that's in development. Overwatch's purpose won't be revealed today, but you can expect the group to play a rather large role in the security Anarchy Forums. In addition to the three new usergroups, Syndicate is being restructured. We plan to have the group play a larger role in the forum and WuhTehFuh is working on weeding out inactive users. Expect a message with more information if you're a part of Syndicate.
Second, I added a couple of things that should make the forum easier (and more enjoyable) to use. One of the things is a banlist, which will show who was banned and the reason why. Currently the list is being worked on, but you can expect it to be working by tomorrow night (depending on where you live). The link to the ban list is at the bottom of our site, labelled "Bans." I also added an "Imgur Image Upload" button, which allows you to upload images to Imgur without leaving our site. It speeds up the process of adding images to your posts. Lastly, I wanted to announce that Phytrix will be tested as a staff member for the next week. If he does well, he'll be made a permanent staff member.
Feel free to post your comments and concerns.
