A freind of mine, Blaze, made a logo for me. He really does not appreciate his own work so I'm asking for some feedback.

Gotta agree with Care, it needs smoother edges and a bit better lighting, shadows etc.
Also the background seems kinda feeble, maybe add some thunder into it?

Agreed, edges should have been smooth. However, I think it looks pretty good.

Does the shape represent something? In my opinion, you should always be able to relate the graphic back to the user.

Some things that need to be worked on are:
Lighting
Edges
Composition(Resolution of it seems a bit off)

Also try to work in some DoF(Depth of Field) to make the symbol pop more against the background, which would look good out of focus with some colours mixed in there.
