I prefer the real thing. While e-books have thier place, you can't right notes in thier margins. If your reader craps out you lose the e-book and have to go find it all over again. Besides, there is nothing better than the sound of a hardbound book bouncing off the head of whomever happens to have irritated you at that particular moment.

I LOVE E-BOOKS. There wonderful. Because if you have three, five hundred page book and you are learning programming its a hassle to carry them but to have e-books great.

I wouldn't say people hate on ebooks, although people definitely do hate on monetizing ebooks, although with good reason. A lot of them are flunks!
I personally use a lot of programming ebooks and really enjoy them. Just like a real book, but I feel more comfortable reading off a PC screen.

People write, and sell shitty eBooks. That's the issue with them.
