1. Learn the prices! That is the best thing to do so you know you're not buying to high 2. Keep track of what price you bought them at! What I do is I have a notebook filled with the prices of the stock when I bought it(and what time).
3. Always, and I mean ALWAYS buy low and sell high.
4. If you're not sure if the stock is going up or down, just buy one or two and spend you capital on something else.
