MacBook M3 or M1 Pro?

I’m torn. Both 16gb ram 1tb SSD.

Go with the cheaper one and wait for the M4 to come out and sell the cheaper one. Maybe end of this year or mid next year. Who really knows.

I am still rocking on a i9 of MacBook and am quite scared to switch to an M processor just so it doesnt have that much of support in regards to virtualization

Most people can make ends meet and learn anything that's up to date with an M1 pro so it's better to go with that one, save a bit of money instead of getting taking advantage of with their storage upgrade hell.

The upgrades move so fast, I always buy based on what I can sell the easiest in a year or so, and I just keep upgrading as I can afford it.
