There are so many countries that are interesting for different travels, but at the moment my attention is focused on one country and that is Ukraine. Every time I visit The Ukrainian Review I admire the way this brave nation stands up to the aggression of a neighboring country. The way they fight for their freedom and independence is simply admirable. As a military man, it would be very interesting for me to visit the sites of major battles and listen to the fascinating stories of how cities were defended.

I would choose Iceland, and that is because it's unlike anywhere else on earth. There are other places with glaciers, volcanoes, natural thermal springs etc..but there is a reason producers of sci-fi/fantasy movies often choose Iceland (when the budget allows) to film other worldly or alien landscapes. Game of thrones, Prometheus and Oblivion come to mind, but there are others. I also like that the entire Island (it isn't tiny) has around the same population as a mid sized U.S. city, and since it is fairly isolated in the North Atlantic, the wonders it has to offer won't be choked by thick crowds of tourists.

So yeah, Iceland would be the first stop on my world tour.

North Korea, no kidding. Is not that I admire it or anything like that, but everything we hear makes it sound so weird and bizarre and makes me wanna see it for myself. Don't think I have the courage to do it though
