I feel the vast majority of police officers are dedicated to their jobs and want to genuinely avail people. They do their jobs despite being given an immense magnitude of shit, visually perceiving the most tenebrous (and most imbecilic) side of humanity, and being held to incredibly high standards. I authentically have a plethora of deference for police officers.
