^ This.

The RAT may be FUD, so don't bother with scans and disinfecting your PC. For complete peace of mind, hitting a clean Installation of Windows and deleting all existing partitions Is the way to go.

Look up people on YouTube who infect their pc and how they detect the RATs. Not saying you will 100% find one in a similar way, but it’s a start. However, best way is for you to Clean install your windows, meaning you have to delete and recreate all disk partitions, no data kept.

You can see Process Explorer to see what processes running on your computer.

All the above advices are correct, however if you have a bootkit it's difficult to spot. the clean install will come a priority. Remeber to backup yor important files before new install.

Check the event viewer. Browse around all your folders and see when they were last modified, check for logs in the temp folder that are trying to be deleted.
Use a network monitor.
Check for new scheduled tasks in task manager as that is one way the malware gains persistence.

Reinstalling Windows might help but if the malware is in the motherboards UEFI it will survive reinstalls.
At the end of the day try to calm down and ask yourself, what can they actually take from me anyway?

You can try running something like simplewall to see what apps / processes have internet activity. It blocks all web requests by default. Not really made for beginner users.
