Trust me, I know a thing or two about cosmetics. I am suckered in by them ALL the time, and it's simply because when I enjoy a game I also like to feel as though my account will look better(re-sell) and also because it gives me something other players want. And then the fact that the skin more than likely looks awesome.

I actually quite like DLC cosmetics. E.g. like Conan. I'm happy to pay $5 for a pack of a load of things once. I don't fancy paying $5 for every little outfit that I like. I've dropped several games for just that reason. I don't like the "spend money now or you'll be mad you don't have this cosmetic forever" targeting. It ruins the game a bit for me xD

I like games where you earn the cosmetics. That way the armor you're wearing shows your achievements, rather than that you were dumb enough to pay $5. This doesn't happen in F2P models as much.

I like it that way as well, which is part of the reason as to why I actually always enjoyed the Warframe system of vaulting items so that way there aren't too many floating around and eventually creating a supply and demand chain for these things. Either that or games where as you progress and the game gets harder, you're rewarded with super-rare items that most people can't get there hands on.

I used to play Warframe a few years ago with @"SuperNinja" and @Jiggly. Had Nekros Prime and Rhino Prime fully decked out, with a bunch of exclusives. Don't really play anymore, as I kind of lost my direction with all the updates.

Hey man yeah I remember those times, actually made a PlayStation account to play with my friends and MAN is there a lot of new content. Decided to check out all the other forums I used to be on and none of em hit like the sinisterly community, this is definitely where I feel most at home.
