Didn't read the whole thread so I might say stuff that others have said, but none of this is new tech. Most Chinese sex dolls have blowjob functions these days. Watch out because if you don't know the pricing they'll rip you off. It'll be $4k one day and $1k the next.

Check out the sex doll message boards. Robots have been around for a while, like DS Robotics. Realbotix has been as well. Both over a decade but it's just not public information, I guess.

The issue with dealing with women is interacting with them online since so much is just scams and con artists. Women will often go into sex work or something and then expect you not to talk about sex with them at all. It's usually the attractive women who are doing it, too, so it's a totally different ballgame. They're also very very skilled at social engineering and will outright scam you as much as they can. It's like today's web was designed by women with as many fraudsters there are on it.

So what are you to do? Spend a grand to get some janky robot to suck you off while you look at hentai on 4chan? Bang a bunch of herpes-infested hookers (and there's a lot of those around)? You start getting jaded after a while. Most people suck in a bad way.

I'd recommend finding a hobby/activity that adds value to your life. If someone's at the point where they're desperate enough to be spending that much on sex, it's probably a problem.

Definitely true but try being an adult and working and still finding a social life, especially if you've moved. Not everyone grew up popular or became unpopular/isolated/etc. after different circumstances. There's also the fact that there's just SO MANY women who are like that. They're either jaded, or just expect cash for an exchange. Look at how many women strip and do porn, let alone outright whore themselves. It's actually very very common. Even if you do meet someone who does it for free, there's a very high likelihood that she has sold it at one point in her life.

A hobby/activity that adds value to your life WILL NOT solve your social issues, even if it enhances your life. Some people already have. Maybe they've become jaded in a similar way women who prostitute themselves have become, instead turning to stuff like this as basically an alternative to deal with that aspect of life.

The whole sex robots thing even existing just shows how flawed male/female relationship dynamics are. There should be no need for sex robots, period, yet they're still popular and being made. Sex dolls and pornography in general are extremely popular. Porn is in every home.

Moving, working, and finding time to socialize are just facets of life. Relative to the rest of society very few women are actually strippers, pornstars, or prostitutes. For the ones that are, it's simply their profession. You can eat steak or you can eat McDonald's. One takes more effort but it's more filling.

Paying for sex definitely won't help someone with social issues, either. People that are sexually obsessed to the point they're willing to pay, are likely incapable of getting it otherwise. Some people have the mentality that forging actual relationships is pointless, when it's easier to "swipe right" or outright pay for sex. It's not a good way to live.

Some people have finer tastes, I agree. The thing is that fucking basically pornstars is available to anyone with cash. What if they don't want love or a "normal" relationship at all? Not everyone's a religious zealot and wants to work a 9-to-5 raising the kids in slumtown while working at the factory all day. Most people don't want that, I don't think. Most people do want to fuck attractive people, though, and there's a ton of attractive women who offer it as a business.

Again, it's probably about quality. Sure you can date some ugly girl for free. You might really like her personality. She might be smart, funny, etc., but she's still ugly. She's not going to do it for you like other women will. You'll end up thinking of some chick you saw in a porno while fucking her, hoping she won't notice how detached you are while doing it.

"Swiping right" as in referring to dating sites is a modern take on dating. Its not necessarily paying for sex. They're just using apps to socialize. I mean try in any major city going out and finding attractive single women to meet without using an app of some sort.

It's really not a great way to live, but it's not the same. You can do both. You can build relationships and fuck hot chicks just for the sake of wanting to fuck a hot chick. You can do one or the other. You can do neither. You might be able to do both at the same time, but it's hard.

Sex robots fill a niche. They fill a void for some. It's an aesthetically pleasing fuck object designed purely for your pleasure. Sure it's probably sinful, but this is Sinister.ly so what do you expect? Walking, talking, fucking robots are on the way and it's clear why people would buy them. The autistic chunky janitor with a neckbeard can fuck Mia Khalifa in the ass on demand if he wants to. I think it actually will help in his sake. It will help him get over sexual insecurities and potentially nervousness dealing with women. It might have a negative effect and make him look down on women or see them as sex objects, though, so it is a double-edged sword.

People should have realistic expectations. Everyone wants to be in a relationship with a "10", but not everybody is a 10. Someone that's socially inept needs to address their flaws in a proactive manner. Fantasizing is normal and everything is fine in moderation, but people have a tendency to get lost in delusion. Especially if technology will aid in that.

Part of relationships is accepting your partner's faults, as well as your own. It's better to have a relationship with a 7 that has similar interests and a great personality than a 10 that doesn't. We're all going to get old and finding someone that you genuinely enjoy spending your time with should take priority. Morality has nothing to do with it.

Life is all about finding balance. I have friends that spent their 20s-30s sleeping around, and as they've aged they're finding it difficult to find a partner and settle down. Likewise, I'm sure we all have friends that are addicted to porn and have a harder time finding an actual relationship. It's all fun and games until the janitor starts bringing his sex robot on dates.
