One night I was on the phone talking as I was driving in Iowa, missed a turn and an hour off course before I knew it. I got to hear the joys of swap shop on local radio that day.

I've done that before with the missed turn. One time I totally got lost - didn't know where I was or how to get back on course. It was In the days when GPS and cell phones were non-existent.
