Elon recently ran a poll, stating he'd abide by the results. Not sure which is better for the internet, honestly.

Amusing that he refused to buy the platform, because he said it was filled with bots... Then he ran a poll to be demoted on the same platform.

Some people are speculating that Elon did this on purpose just so that he could have a graceful exit. Which as Oni said, Twitter is a platform filled with bots.

All this poll does is make Elon look like an idiot.

There's no real intent with this. If he were to step down, knowing his track record, he'll hold some form of an active role. Whether or not he truly abides by the results will be interesting to see.
