Is it a new season or a spin-off? I stopped watching Bleach about 300 eps in so I'm a little out of touch.

Yessir. I've probably re-watched bleach 3 or 4 times. A friend told me about last year and I've been checking in ever few months. I'm glad there's finally a date.
